Bows, lace, satin, and silk. All paint a delicate picture of soft grace. Iwa Akagane is nothing if not soft and graceful - but she is far from delicate, no matter how she might look. With coloring reminiscent of a cloudy and snowy day, the short raen holds herself with the same soft silence as falling snow. Though one might be reminded of a wintery chill when thoughts of snowy days come to mind, they would not find any sort of coldness with Iwa.She is a warm and bright woman who smiles easily. The smiles may be small and timid, but they are present nigh constantly on her rounded face. More exuberant or flamboyant expressions are swiftly tamped down, replaced with something far more demure and meek. Though they may be chased away for the most part, the warm expressions never truly leave black painted lips.Snowy tresses tumble down her back in loose waves that reach wide hips. A v-shaped fringe and curls frame Iwa's face, their pale shade bringing out the stark white of long eyelashes. Though she often paints her eyelids with black kohl to match her lips, she leaves her lashes bare to stand in contrast with the deep shadow.Her scales, similar in color to her alabaster hair, are often polished with an oil that carries in it a hint of color. Her scales reflect a faint amethyst shimmer to gleam along with pearlescent angles. The horns of her head are decorated with delicate chains and tiny crystals that reflect the light. The smaller horns at the crown of her head remain undecorated. Iwa's eyes are similar in hue, being lavender with white limbal rings framing the delicate color.Iwa's attire leans towards midnight blacks and deep purples, all of which contrast sharply with her pale grey skin tone. She has a generously curved figure that is closer to chubby or voluptuous, and she is not afraid to highlight her assets with tight lace and silk corsets. Though shy in demeanor, her attire is often a contradiction to this, likely due to her chosen profession. However, she much prefers somewhat modest clothing, showing only bits of her skin rather than large amounts.Her long tail often sways in a rhythmic motion behind her, the end of it tipped with a tied bow. The length of her tail reaches her ankles, remaining just an ilm or two free from touching the ground. She often keeps it curled up at the tip, just to be safe. The appendage is as expressive as a miqo'te's ears - often curling around her legs or twitching depending on her moods. As if that were not enough, she wears her expressions without restriction. It is often easy to tell how she is feeling or what she is thinking.

Iwa grew up in Yanxia on a small farm in the countryside. Her family had a little bit of land where they grew crops and tended to a few animals to keep themselves sustained. The farm was burned down and her family scattered when a troop of Garleans attacked her village and farm, razing it all to the ground.
